What is a Backflow Prevention Device

A Backflow Prevention Device (BPD) is a valve that prevents clean potable water from mixing with dirty water.

There have been many specific cases where people have become sick and even died from drinking water that has been contaminated with chemicals, dirt, sewer, wine waste, oils, even blood and gas where a property contaminated water supply mixes with clean drinking water.

Insurance companies are insisting on seeing the test reports before lowering premiums, Water authorities require a test report to ensure the valve is operating as it should.
